At Bróga Irish Dance, we want every dancer to feel confident with their purchase. To keep our returns process fair and consistent for all customers, please read the information below before requesting a return.
Unfortunately, at this time we do not offer exchanges.
If you require a different size or wish to purchase another style, you will need to request a return and place a new order.
✨ How to Start a Return
To initiate a return, you must email us first so we can provide the correct return instructions for your location.

Please include:
- Your full name
- Your order number
- Your location
- A brief explanation of why you would like to return your shoes
Do not send your parcel before contacting us.
Returns sent without prior authorisation cannot be processed or refunded.
Return Eligibility
We accept returns on Bróga shoes that meet the following criteria:
- Shoes must be unworn and undanced in
- Shoes may only have been tried on indoors, on a clean, dry surface
- Shoes must be in new or nearly new condition
- Shoes must be returned with all original laces and packaging
Shoes showing signs of dancing, damage, or wear will not be eligible for a refund.
Condition Requirements
To ensure fairness, all returned shoes must be suitable for resale.
Below are examples of acceptable and unacceptable returns.
Shoes We CAN Accept
We can accept shoes that:
- Have clean suede pads with only very light texture from trying on
- Show no signs of dancing or friction wear
- Have no creasing or compression on the toe area
- Have no dust, dirt, fibres, chalk, or debris on the soles
- Have unstretched leather and an undistorted shape
- Have only been gently tried on indoors

Shoes We CANNOT Accept
We cannot accept shoes that display:
- Visible wear on the suede pads, including shiny patches, smoothing, or balding
- Embedded debris such as dust, fibres, chalk, or dirt
- Friction marks from dancing on hard or studio floors
- Creasing or compression indicating dancing or weight-bearing
- Any signs of use beyond a brief indoor try-on
Shoes in this condition are considered used and cannot be refunded.

Customer Self-Assessment Before Returning
Before posting your shoes, please review their condition carefully.
A helpful guide is to ask yourself:
“If I saw these shoes in this exact condition, would I be happy to purchase them at full price?”
If the answer is no, the shoes are unlikely to meet our return requirements and should not be sent back to us.
Refunds
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method only
- Refunds are processed within 7 working days of the returned shoes arriving with us and passing inspection
- Refunds cannot be issued before we receive and inspect the shoes
- Return shipping costs are not refundable, unless legally required
- Customs duties and import taxes paid by the customer are non-refundable
Faulty Items
If you believe your item is faulty, you must notify us within 7 days of receiving your order. Please email admin@brogairishdance.com with clear photographs of the issue.
If the item is confirmed to be faulty, you will be offered a refund. Bróga may cover return shipping for verified faults.
Faults caused by misuse, improper care, or general wear and tear are not eligible for refund.
