This creates a better fit across more foot types — especially wider feet. No squeezing. No weird pressure points. Just comfort where it matters most.

What’s different about Bróga?

The biggest shift? You’ll no longer wrap your laces underneath your feet. Here’s why that matters:

Based on our research into dancer injuries — especially fifth metatarsal fractures — we discovered that the common way dancers wrap laces around the sole can contribute to unwanted pressure, instability, and long-term foot stress.

So we reimagined the lacing design to reduce that risk — while keeping the look and feel dancers love.

That part was non-negotiable for us. We knew dancers wanted a shoe that felt familiar on their feet, but performed better behind the scenes.
